Ok, I have a ton of pictures and a super cute video to post, but the lack of time and no internet at home is holding me back right now. I will get those up soon! We have had guests non-stop since Easter, and that has been both amazing and crazy. Luke is getting to the end of his semester, and I am nearing the end of another school year! Wow...where did the time go? We are purchasing our plane tickets for Haiti today, which means we are going! We do not have all our support yet, but God is so in control of that!
So, I was making my lesson plans for next week and realized that it will be May next Friday! WHAT?!?!?!? May already? That is crazy for a number of reasons, but seriously...it's crunch time! Like I said Luke is nearing the end and working non-stop, and me....what am I up too? Well first there is school...teaching and Grace Camp has kept me busy, then there is our Spring Musical! What fun, but way to much work if you ask me! Then there is all the stuff I need to stuff into this upcoming month....... academic crunch month (also known as: May). My poor students have no idea the tornado they are about to walk into :) They are amazing and will think it is fun....maybe :). Then packing and driving to NH, and from there Haiti, then back to NH to drive with mom and Cindy (Cindy doesn't know she is coming yet though). Then we are back in TX for another school year...wow.....there goes my summer!

Forever
Ok, so I know that is had been pretty much forever since I have updated this, but let me just tell you how fast this year has gone!! I am currently sitting in the library of Luke's school using their Internet because we cancelled ours at the house. Luke is sitting across from me doing him homework like a good boy. I cannot remember the last time that I just sat with nothing to do; even during spring break, I made myself a list of things to do. It is nice to just chill.
This school year is almost over for us! I cannot believe how fast it went! I know that I have told people that last year went by fast, but this year is way faster! My students are amazing, and growing too fast! The things they say and come up with have me laughing all the time! I love just hanging out in our classroom and talking with them! Their dreams and issues going on in their lives right now are so interesting to me and I love how they think! This year I have 7 boy and 3 girls. It is a perfect size class! Next year they are anticipating about 15/16 in my class......great! I know that is still not a lot compared to a public school, but I have not taught that many before! I cannot wait!
So, lately Luke and I have been working on school stuff, and trying to prepare for Haiti this summer. Lots to do! Hope to fill you in on more soon :)

Playing Cards
Luke and I were playing cards the other night and realized that Riley does not like it when we shuffle the cards. She started barking and freaking out. It was really funny. Tonight we sat down to play a couple of hands. I began to shuffle and Riley started her usual barking, but this time jumped on the couch and saved me from those dangerous cards :) She is awesome!
