This is sort of like a complaining blog :) (warning) Well yesterday was grandparent's day at my school, and my students (long with the other grades) have been practicing since Christmas, and this week especially! We have had practices upon practices, and not only that, but those practices take up class time, which causes me to be behind on lessons. Not too big of a deal because we will catch up, and I have an awesome class. Well as you can see there has been a lot of work put into this program. We had some grandparent's flying in from other states, and traveling from other towns to come and see their grandchildren perform and see their classroom.
Here is when I am going to start complaining. I have one students who's parents did not even know that it was a half day of school, never mind grandparent's day! Crazy!! His grandfather came to pick him up and told me that he did not know that it was grandparent's day until half and hour before he came to pick him up! I cannot even count the papers and reminders that went home about this event!! Crazy!!! This is not the first problem with this student either, it is never ending!!!!
On the positive side, he is in my class for now, and in a school where all the teachers ask about him, who are praying for him, and show lots of love!!!
On a lighter subject Riley is going well! She is keeping us up at night, but she is definitely adjusting. She is starting to realize that she goes potty outside :)
Well time to go and clean! THE SNOWS ARE COMING TO VISIT TODAY :) I cannot wait!!!
