Luke and I are 100% into our new apartment! We are SUPER excited about it. We are having a blast, and as of this morning we are completely unpacked. The coolest part is that we own our own washer and dryer! I know I am a geek, but there is just something about having a wicked cool apartment that you can call "home" and being able to do everything in it as you would a home. I am not sure if that makes sense, bur nonetheless I am excited. I will have pictures soon.
Shortly after we returned to Dallas we picked up our cute little puppy dog; Riley, although she is not a puppy any more! She is HUGE! 27 pounds, and a few inches later we now have a rambunctious 6 month old puppy! We brought her in this past Tuesday to get spayed. She was so sad looking when we went that afternoon to pick her up. She had to wear a cone to protect her from licking and getting at her stitches. We do have pictures of this, that I will post later.
School starts this Thursday! I cannot believe it is here already. My classroom is about done, and I am so excited to see all my wonderful students. I will write more on Thursday :)
